Technical Service Manager / Service Delivery Manager for South West energy business

The Role

You will manage technical support for users and systems, taking ownership and responsibility for:

      • managing Jira service desk system to assign and prioritise work items
      • directing on-shore / off-shore technical support teams
      • users and technical teams (dev ops, design and development) to resolve technical issues
      • provision and upgrades to cloud based server architecture and networking
      • AWS production and disaster recovery infrastructure
      • external IT security consultants to maintain intruder detection capability
      • developing relationships with business partners, vendors and service providers
      • defining, improving and delivering to SLAs
      • continuous improvement of ITIL based processes e.g. Joiners and Leavers; Change, Incident and Problem Management; Configuration and Asset Management etc.
