A leading costs consultancy firm is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Law Costs Draftsman to join their team, specializing in cradle to grave matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking to embark on a long-term career within the legal costs sector. Key Responsibilities: Assisting in the preparation of bills of costs. Drafting schedules of costs and preparing points of dispute and replies Gaining an understanding of relevant case law and statutory provisions Liaising with clients, solicitors, and other legal professionals Providing administrative support to senior costs draftsmen as needed The Ideal Candidate Will Have: A recent degree, ideally in law or a related field A strong desire to pursue a career in costs law.
