Job Description To provide an efficient and effective Joinery service with the ability and skills to carry out all associated works involved within the Maintenance Service The Joiners key functions include: All Joiner work associated with minor new works. Measuring, cutting, sizing and preparation of timber and components. Organising own work in conjunction with the Coordinator, and decide on best methodology in the execution of such work. As a representative of the Maintenance Service the Joiner will ensure the Council's values are promoted in every aspect of his work, with the remit to provide a seamless high quality response to the customer’s needs. The Joiner will demonstrate high personal and professional standards, especially in respect of quality and customer service. The post holder will be required to work in tenanted and occupied houses where no other council staff are present.
