Volunteer Creche Worker

For almost three decades, CrossReach has supported families experiencing the impact of perinatal mental health difficulties. Our Perinatal Service provides counselling alongside a crèche service, allowing parents and carers to attend therapy while their babies and young children are cared for in a safe and supportive environment. We are currently looking for volunteers to join our crèche team. As a volunteer, you will help create a calm, welcoming space for children aged up to five while their parent or carer attends counselling. What your time could involve * Setting up and tidying the crèche space before and after sessions * Welcoming parents, carers and children in a warm and reassuring way * Creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for young children * Playing and interacting with children through age appropriate activities * Following codes of confidentiality, conduct and health and safety procedures What you will gain You will gain valuable experience working within a…
