Cook (BANK contract)

Food plays a vital role within our hospices – and as a Cook at CHAS, you’ll be at the heart of delivering nutritious, safe and thoughtfully prepared meals that support children, families, staff and volunteers every day. You’ll support the smooth day-to-day running of the hospice kitchen, working alongside the Catering Manager to prepare, cook and serve meals for children, families, staff and visitors. The role involves planning menus that meet a wide range of dietary needs, maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards, and helping to ensure the kitchen is a calm, well-organised and supportive space. You’ll also help guide catering assistants and volunteers, contributing to a positive team environment where everyone feels supported and valued.
